About the Role

As a Clinical Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in leading our Substance Abuse Treatment Program at Middlesex Human Service Agency. This is an opportunity to oversee the delivery of evidence-based clinical services within a two-week residential substance abuse program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Oversight: Supervise and coordinate all clinical activities to ensure quality, evidence-based services.
  • Clinical Expertise: Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures for quality care and regulatory compliance.
  • Staff Management: Provide supervision to clinical and educational staff, conducting timely job performance evaluations.
  • Training and Development: Schedule, design, and implement staff training and development activities.
  • Client Care: Provide direct client care as needed and supervise client medication procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's Degree in counseling, mental health, social work, or a related field.
  • Licensure: Independent licensure (LADC I, LMHC, LICSW, LMFT, etc.) eligibility required; full licensure preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of licensed clinical supervisory experience and minimum of two (2) years of substance abuse counseling experience.
  • Skillset: Fundamental knowledge of substance abuse and treatment, familiarity with MA DPH/BSAS regulations, and ability to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse population.
