Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, and supervise maintenance staff to ensure the highest level of service delivery.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify areas in need of repair and maintenance.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Collaborate with community managers to ensure seamless communication and resolution of resident concerns.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize maintenance budgets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding promptly to maintenance requests and concerns.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a multi-family housing environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing maintenance staff and budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and vendors.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
