Job Summary:

Froedtert Health is seeking a highly skilled Physiologist Exercise Specialist to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. As a key member of our Cardiac Rehabilitation program, you will be responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and educating patients receiving Intensive Cardiac Rehabilitation (ICR), Cardiac Rehabilitation (CR), Pulmonary Rehabilitation (PR), and Supervised Exercise Therapy for Peripheral Artery Disease (SET for PAD), chronic disease management, and primary and secondary prevention programming.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and evaluate patients receiving ICR, CR, PR, and SET for PAD
  • Develop and implement individualized exercise programs for patients
  • Conduct regular assessments and progress reports
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology or related field
  • Internship in a cardiopulmonary rehabilitation program preferred
  • ACSM Exercise Specialist and/or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist certification preferred
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent required within 90 days
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within one year of hire
