Job Summary

K2 Construction LLC is seeking a skilled Underground Utility Pipeline Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining underground utility systems, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and lay out underground pipelines, including sanitary sewer, storm water sewer, and consumable water structures and pipe systems.
  • Prepare and cut pipes to required lengths, and align and position pipes for welding or sealing.
  • Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers, and connect pipe pieces and seal joints.
  • Tap and drill holes into pipes to introduce auxiliary lines or devices, and cover pipes with earth or other materials.
  • Grade and level trench bases, using tamping machines and hand tools, and intimate and working knowledge of industry standard hand signals.
  • Train others in pipe-laying techniques, and perform other general labor and construction-related duties as required.
Working Conditions
  • Work is performed outside in heat, cold, and inclement weather, with exposure to all elements of nature, including loud noise, fumes, odors, gasses, dusts, etc.
  • Work in close proximity to heavy traffic, and may require standing, walking, climbing, stooping, and bending, with periodic lifting of 10 to 50 pounds.
