Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Mercy Health System's Dermatology Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Patient Care: Utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, and procedures.
  • Documentation: Accurately document patient information and care provided, adhering to standards of care.
  • Patient Education: Develop and implement patient education plans, providing instruction and support to patients and their families.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, contributing to shared governance and peer review processes.
  • Critical Thinking: Utilize critical thinking skills to ensure patient safety and experience, escalating concerns to the appropriate chain of command as needed.

Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Experience: 12 months of RN experience required.
  • Licensure: Licensed as an RN in the state of practice.
  • Certification: Approved CPR certification required within 90 days.
