Calloway Creek Surgery is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operating room team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
- Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing/BSN
- Minimum 2 years experience in an Operating Room setting; preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.
- Two year supervisor experience.
- Additional specialty experience may be required as per facility practices (i.e. Pediatric, GI, etc).
- Active RN license as required by state of employment or appropriate compact licensure.
- Required valid BCLS Certification upon employment.
- ACLS, PALS and/or other as required for patient care area and by facility.
Calloway Creek Surgery Center is located in North Richland Hills, Texas, and performs over 225 procedures a month.
