Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Glass Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production staff, you will be responsible for fabricating glass components for window assemblies. Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Fabrication: Operate various hand tools to manually construct window units, including lifting glass onto build tables and roller racks.">
  • Movement of Carts: Move carts in and out of production work areas, ensuring efficient workflow.">
  • Loading Window Sash Components: Load window sash components for processing insulated glass units.">
  • Assembly of Vinyl Grids: Assemble vinyl grids for placement within insulated glass units.">
  • Offloading Insulated Glass Units: Offload insulated glass units to carts.">
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure overall quality of work produced by performing quality audits and engaging in problem-solving activities to resolve issues.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Ability to Measure Lengths Accurately: Ability to measure lengths accurately to 1/32”.">
  • Lifting Ability: Ability to lift 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.">
  • Math Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.">
  • Reading Comprehension: Ability to read and interpret common statistical data, productivity reports, and written instructions.">
  • Computer Skills: Capable of using computerized equipment.">
  • Physical Demands: Will require standing, walking, and working on concrete surfaces for long periods of time.">

Estimated Salary Range: $18.25 per hour

">
