To support our continued growth, we are currently seeking an experience CDL A/B driver/boom truck operator to join us in North Brunswick, NJ. We are seeking a driver who is responsible and can be a great team player. Driver will operate delivery vehicle to and from customer sites that require crane or boom to load and unload material.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
  • Load/Unload materials from our warehouses to job site. Taking precautions to ensure product and customer property.
  • Maintain truck
  • Assist loaders and forklift operators during loading
  • Ensure capacities and weights meet all standards, ensure load is no over weight limits and follows all guidelines as established by the Department of Transportation
  • Secures load - ensures proper strapping of load before transportation
  • Operates boom, ensuring all safety protocols are met
  • Maintains records of any maintenance issues/operating issues of equipment
  • Confirm and maintain log of deliveries. Check item manifest to ensure accuracy of orders delivered.
  • Assists customers/fork lift operators in unload of truck
The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements:
  • CDL experience with flat beds; operation/license of Boom cranes highly desirable
  • Must have clean driving record; meets current DOT qualifications
  • Must have flexible schedule for off-hour deliveries
  • Physical demands: Ability to lift up to 100 lbs or more, bending, twisting, working in a variety of environmental conditions

Notes:
- This is a full-time position
- No overnight required
- Wage will be determined according to experience
- Candidates with glass experience is a big plus
- CDL and/or boom truck experience an absolute plus
