Job Summary:
Quad is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team of healthcare professionals. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our health care revolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive, accessible care to patients, focusing on wellness and prevention.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure positive outcomes.
- Perform nursing functions, phone triage, and patient education as directed by providers.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation into the EMR and adhere to federal and state regulations regarding patient information.
- Consult and coordinate with internal and external partners to plan patients' health activities, treatment, and referrals.
- Perform diagnostic testing to assist providers in identifying and assessing patients' conditions.
- Clean and sterilize medical instruments and equipment, and ensure rooms are stocked with supplies.
- Perform administrative functions, front office tasks, and schedule appointments as requested.
- Refer patients to specialists within their elected health plan or community agencies.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an approved nursing program with an associate degree or equivalent.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred.
- Working knowledge of practical nursing theories and policies.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Computer skills required, with electronic medical record experience preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus, but not required.
