Overview:
As an iOS Developer at Synechron, you will play a pivotal role in the creation, development, and launch of innovative iOS applications that deliver outstanding user experiences. Utilizing your in-depth expertise in Swift and the Xcode IDE, you will work alongside a dynamic team of designers, developers, and product managers to transform creative mobile ideas into reality. Your responsibilities will also encompass automating testing and deployment processes while ensuring high standards of code quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop sophisticated applications for the iOS platform using Swift and Xcode.
- Collaborate closely with the design team to outline app functionalities and ensure a fluid user experience.
- Establish and oversee automated testing and deployment workflows using CI/CD tools to enhance development efficiency.
- Conduct thorough code evaluations, maintain code quality, and promote best practices within the development team.
- Guide junior iOS developers, providing mentorship on best practices and supporting their career growth.
- Oversee the complete application lifecycle, from initial concept to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
- Identify performance bottlenecks, resolve bugs to enhance application functionality, and optimize for speed and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including other mobile developers and product managers, to strategize, design, and implement new features.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and protocols in the mobile development landscape.
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in iOS application development.
- Proficient in Swift with a comprehensive understanding of the Xcode development environment.
- Experience with Jenkins or similar CI/CD platforms.
- Solid grasp of the entire mobile application development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with cross-platform mobile development frameworks such as React Native or Flutter.
- Expertise in iOS frameworks including Core Data and Core Animation.
- Ability to work with offline storage, threading, and performance enhancements.
- Proficient in Git and best practices for code versioning.
- Experience in integrating third-party libraries and APIs.
- Knowledge of push notifications, APIs, and cloud messaging services.
- Strong understanding of continuous integration and deployment practices for mobile applications.
- Familiarity with containerization and application deployment in cloud environments.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Maven, and Jenkins.
- Knowledge of code quality assessment tools/frameworks like PMD, SonarQube, JUnit, Mockito, and Mutation Testing.
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- At least 3 years of experience in Agile Scrum/SAFe Agile methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
