Patient Care Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Tech to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a Patient Care Tech, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our nursing staff in delivering high-quality care.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the RN with clinical tasks, including glucometry, EKGs, and vital signs.
- Responding to the needs of patients and family members, and taking a proactive role in the efficient operation of the unit.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Certification as a nursing assistant required upon hire, unless you are a nursing student who has completed your fundamentals of nursing with a clinical component.
- Bi-lingual skills are preferred.
- Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the Red Cross required upon hire.
