POSITION SUMMARY

The Financial Planning Analyst will play a crucial role in enhancing the commercial success of our operations. This position involves the development of systems and processes to monitor, report, and optimize financial performance, as well as supporting the initiation of new projects through the establishment of scalable frameworks.

KEY FUNCTIONS

Budgeting and Forecasting

  • Collaborate with various teams to facilitate the creation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Conduct thorough variance analysis and provide insightful commentary.

Accounting Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for North American operations.
  • Oversee intercompany financial transactions.

Cost Management

  • Identify and implement strategies for cost reduction.
  • Administer expense claims and corporate credit card transactions.

Financial Reporting

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports in accordance with corporate requirements.

Administrative Duties

  • Manage auto insurance notifications and banking transactions.

Procurement Oversight

  • Serve as the expert in the procurement process and provide training to new team members.
  • Oversee accounts payable workflows and maintain procurement records.

Systems Development

  • Lead the creation and implementation of scalable financial systems.
  • Develop reporting tools to enhance financial visibility.

Project Support

  • Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing across the North America region.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is a plus.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.

  • This position requires a minimum of three days per week in the office.
