Job Description Overview

SMMA has an exciting opportunity for a Plumbing/Fire Protection Designer to work on stimulating projects in our Providence, RI or Cambridge, MA office. As an integrated design firm, we unite a dynamic mix of architects, engineers, interior designers, technologists, researchers, and industry experts to provide responsible, well-crafted, venturesome, and beautiful design solutions.

Responsibilities and Expectations
  1. Design and develop plumbing and fire protection systems using Revit software.
  2. Collaborate with Lead Engineers on assigned projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  3. Engage in technical discussions with project teams, demonstrating expertise in building systems design.
  4. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, representing the trade in project discussions.
  5. Manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
