Nuclear Medicine Technician

As a Nuclear Medicine Technician, you will play a critical role in performing diagnostic imaging procedures to diagnose and treat various medical conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of nuclear medicine principles and be able to operate complex equipment with ease. Collaboration with the healthcare team is essential for optimal patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Perform nuclear medicine procedures to diagnose and treat various medical conditions
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for imaging purposes
Operate gamma cameras and other nuclear medicine equipment to acquire images
Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, providing clear instructions and monitoring vital signs
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnostic information

Requirements

ARRT (N) certification
BLS certifications
Two years of recent Nuclear Medicine Technician experience
Strong communication and adaptability skills
