Nuclear Medicine Specialist

At TotalMed Staffing, we are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Specialist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures to diagnose and treat various medical conditions. Your expertise will be essential in preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients for imaging purposes. You will also operate gamma cameras and other nuclear medicine equipment to acquire images, ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures. Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals, you will interpret images and provide accurate diagnostic information.
Key Responsibilities
Perform nuclear medicine procedures to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for imaging purposes.
Operate gamma cameras and other nuclear medicine equipment to acquire images.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, providing clear instructions and monitoring vital signs.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnostic information.
Requirements
ARRT (N) certification
BLS certifications
Two years of recent Nuclear Med Tech experience
Strong communication and adaptability skills
