Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at Earl Enterprises. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the Management of Restaurant Operations
    • Assist the General Manager in overseeing the overall operation of the restaurant, including staff management, customer service, and inventory control.
    • Ensure that all restaurant policies and procedures are followed and that high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.
  • Lead by Example
    • Model the behavior and work ethic expected of all team members, demonstrating a strong commitment to customer service and quality.
    • Lead by example, setting high standards for yourself and others, and consistently demonstrating a positive and professional attitude.
  • Develop and Implement Operational Strategies
    • Assist the General Manager in developing and implementing operational strategies to improve restaurant performance, including menu engineering, inventory management, and labor control.
    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
  • Manage and Develop Team Members
    • Assist the General Manager in recruiting, training, and developing team members to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
    • Provide coaching and feedback to team members to help them improve their performance and achieve their goals.
  • Ensure Compliance with Company Policies and Procedures
    • Ensure that all team members are aware of and comply with company policies and procedures, including those related to customer service, food safety, and inventory control.
    • Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies and procedures, taking corrective action as needed.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members, customers, and vendors.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and develop strategies to improve restaurant performance.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
    • Knowledge of restaurant operations, including menu engineering, inventory management, and labor control.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
