Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Job Description

Arizona Autism Charter Schools, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. As an SLPA, you will work closely with a Speech Language Pathologist to administer school-based speech language treatment plans and provide support to students with autism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement student communication strategies to support language development
  • Work with the Speech Language Pathologist to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide support to students with augmentative communication devices
  • Coach classroom staff on implementation of speech/language therapy goals
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
Requirements:
  • Arizona IVP Fingerprint clearance card
  • Bachelor's Degree in Speech Pathology
  • Certified SLPA in the State of Arizona
