Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency and non-emergency service requests as dispatched to provide timely and appropriate care to patients.
- Conduct assessments in accordance with training and medical protocols to determine treatment methods and transport options.
- Operate the ambulance safely and professionally, adhering to traffic regulations to ensure the safety of all individuals involved.
- Complete necessary documentation, including patient care reports and daily checklists, in line with established practices and regulations.
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety protocols to maintain a secure and effective work environment.
- Collaborate with higher-trained personnel to deliver effective patient care.
- Exhibit exceptional customer service skills to patients, families, and other emergency response personnel.
- Support community service initiatives and relationship-building activities as directed by leadership.
Qualifications:
What You Will Need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician in the relevant state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid driver's license.
- Completion of required training within specified timeframes.
