POSITION SUMMARY:
The Advanced Practice Nurse is tasked with the comprehensive assessment, planning, execution, evaluation, and management of patient care under the guidance of a licensed physician.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing outpatient medical consultation services under the supervision of a physician in our healthcare facility.
- Assessing, diagnosing, and managing both new and existing patient medical conditions.
- Conducting follow-up care for patients.
- Ordering and interpreting laboratory, radiology, and other diagnostic test results.
- Prescribing medications and referring patients for further consultations as necessary.
- Responding to emergency calls on a rotating basis.
- Administering and prescribing medications for patients.
- Documenting all patient interactions and treatment procedures in the electronic medical record.
- Performing physical examinations on patients.
- Providing health education to patients and their families.
- Overseeing and coordinating the activities of patient care and support staff within the clinic.
- Executing additional duties as assigned in accordance with a nurse protocol agreement.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least one year of clinical experience in Family Practice or Urgent Care is essential
- Master's degree in Nursing
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Current APRN licensure in the relevant state
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration is preferred
