About this Role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a seasoned Business Services Consultant to lead workforce delivery activities in the Chief Technology Office (CTO) Workforce Management team. This team provides strategic workforce management and resource planning in alignment with business objectives and the Wells Fargo Technology EPIC strategy, enabling CTO teams to recruit, develop, retain, and maximize the potential of their high-performing and diverse talent while achieving financial commitments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the central point of contact for workforce-related needs and questions for supported line of business leadership and managers.
  • Develop, drive, and manage workforce strategies and associated headcount activities to ensure supported line of business has the talent needed to reach its goals while minimizing risk and meeting budget and financial commitments.
  • Manage and navigate the hiring and recruiting processes to ensure requisitions are following the correct procedures to meet timelines and future staffing needs for supported line of business while adhering to established parameters (i.e., location, job level, compensation).
  • Create and manage consumable reporting and status of workforce metrics to drive action and outcomes.
  • Coordinate, track, manage, and provide guidance on operational workforce health (e.g., employees vs. contingent ratios, global resource targets).
  • Support the line of business in attracting and sustaining diverse talent in the workplace through initiatives aimed at creating long-term partnerships that improve retention, career growth, and provide equitable access to development opportunities.
  • Partner with key stakeholders such as Resource Planning, Talent Acquisition, and Finance as a trusted advisor and liaison for the supported line of business to communicate leadership decisions about workforce plans and efficiency targets to ensure alignment.
  • Ensure service quality and cost effectiveness of CTO Workforce Management solutions.
  • Collaborate and consult with the technology team and more experienced management within Technology Business Services functional area to resolve Information Technology issues and provide customers with best possible solutions.
  • Lead or participate in managing and supporting the delivery of technology products and services of high-profile business unit clients and contribute to large-scale solutions planning related to Technology Business Services.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of Information Technology experience in support of Business Services, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • 3+ years of workforce management experience in workforce forecasting and process improvement within a fast-paced technology environment.
  • 3+ years of data analytics and executive reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven track record of executing strategies aligned with business objectives by influencing and engaging across multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Highly collaborative (with stakeholders at all levels) with strong influencing skills, creative, resourceful, self-driven, and results-oriented.
  • Strong executive presentation and relationship-building skills. Ability to present a message clearly and succinctly to business leaders, product leaders, and large audiences.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to effectively maintain and process large amounts of data.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel pivot tables, formulas, vlookups, etc.
  • Understanding of financial and budgeting practices and how an enterprise would operate in a product-centric manner.
  • Strong time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple deliverables concurrently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability and willingness to negotiate internally and externally.
  • Proven ability to maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials and exercise discretion when needed.
  • Customer-minded focus and drive for results.
