Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Mayo Clinic - 4500 San Pablo Rd. As an Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing coordinated patient care to adult patients requiring cath lab service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-procedure patient preparation and post-procedure recovery
  • Scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring during diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Emergency interventions and treatment of arrhythmia-based diagnoses
  • Electrophysiology lab procedures, including Implantable cardiac device implants and ablations
  • Hybrid OR procedures, including high-risk lead extraction cases
Requirements
  • Certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist or RT-R
  • Experience working in an electrophysiology lab performing various procedures
  • Knowledge of connectology of equipment for major mapping systems, such as Navix/EnsiteX, Carto, and Precision
  • Ablation techniques experience, including RF, Cryo, and PFA
  • Lead extraction cases using manual and Laser approaches
  • Experience using a stimulator system, preferably Micropace and Bloom 2
Work Environment

This role requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on patient care and safety. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting and communicate clearly with patients and colleagues.

Staff schedules are in 6 week intervals with scheduled late shifts. This role does not take call, but scheduled lates are required.
