Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Mayo Clinic - 4500 San Pablo Rd. As an Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist, you will provide coordinated patient care to adult patients requiring cath lab service, including scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring during diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-procedure patient preparation, post-procedure recovery, and emergency interventions
  • Provide care appropriate to the age of the patients, including adult and geriatric populations
  • Perform electrophysiology lab procedures, including implantable cardiac device implants, low to moderate risk explants, and ablations
  • Assist with hybrid OR procedures, including high-risk lead extraction cases
  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist or RT-R
  • Experience working in an electrophysiology lab performing various procedures
  • Knowledge of connectology of equipment for major mapping systems, such as Navix/EnsiteX, Carto, and Precision
  • Experience with ablation techniques, including RF, Cryo, and PFA
  • Lead extraction cases using manual and laser approaches
  • Experience using a stimulator system, preferably Micropace and Bloom 2
