CMM Programmer - Quality Assurance Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain precise CMM inspection programs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in quality control processes.
  • Conduct comprehensive inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished goods, adhering to strict quality standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve quality compliance issues, promoting continuous improvement and adherence to industry best practices.
  • Utilize advanced mechanical inspection tools, including calipers, optical comparators, bore gages, and microscopes, to ensure dimensional accuracy and product integrity.
  • Leverage proficiency in MCOSMOS software to program and operate CMM machines effectively, optimizing inspection workflows.
  • Maintain meticulous records of inspection results, contributing to comprehensive quality documentation and traceability.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Associate Degree in a related field.
  • Minimum three years of proven experience in CMM programming using MCOSMOS software.
  • Extensive knowledge of Geometric Dimension & Tolerance (GD&T) principles and their application in quality control.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration within a team environment.
