Openwork is seeking a skilled CMM Programmer to join our team. As a CMM Programmer, you will be responsible for creating and modifying CMM inspection programs, planning and performing inspections, and ensuring quality and adherence to specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience with mechanical inspection tools, proficiency in MS Excel, and excellent computer skills. Additionally, you will be required to work on specialized equipment and perform other duties as assigned. If you have a strong background in CMM programming, inspection, measurement, and fixture development, and are looking for a challenging role, we encourage you to apply.

**Responsibilities:**

* Create new and correct, modify, and rewrite existing CMM inspection programs.
* Plan and perform check-piece, in-process, and final inspection.
* Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished goods to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
* Proven experience/ability with mechanical inspection tools - calipers, optical comparators, bore gages, digital height gages, O.D./I.D. micrometers, indicators, Rockwell hardness testing, gage pins/blocks, and microscopes.
* Excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS Excel.
* Resolve quality compliance problems with other internal departments.
* Frequently required to sit, walk, or stand.
* Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard.
* Frequently required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds.
* Work on Specialized equipment.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications:**

* High School Diploma or associate degree.
* Three years of CMM programming experience using MCOSMOS.
* Minimum of 3 years experience in CMM programming, inspection, measurement, and fixture development.
* 3 to 5 years Geometric Dimension & Tolerance (GD&T).
