Job Description

Multifamily Property Management

The Community Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a multifamily property, ensuring the highest level of resident satisfaction and property value. This role involves managing a team of staff, overseeing maintenance and repairs, and implementing strategies to increase occupancy and revenue.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of staff, including assistant community directors, resident services coordinators, and maintenance technicians.
  • Oversee maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely completion and quality of work.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase occupancy and revenue, including marketing and leasing initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including fair housing and OSHA requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in multifamily property management, including affordable housing programs.
  • Affordable Housing Accreditation or other applicable designations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Google Apps, and property management software.
