Compensation and Benefits Overview

The Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)/Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) role at our hospital in Alaska offers a competitive compensation package, including:

  • Hiring Range: $64,106.95 to $85,475.93
  • Pay Range: $64,106.95 to $96,160.42
  • Relocation assistance: up to $20,000 negotiable based on needs
  • Sign-on bonus: 10% of salary negotiable
  • Retention incentive: 10% of annual salary at the 2-year mark
  • Student loan repayment through NHSC – ISH
  • Guaranteed annual base increase up to 5% depending on inflation
  • Educational reimbursement opportunities
  • Vacation time: up to 400 hours, which can be carried over or paid annually
  • Gym wellness benefits: one day allotted per week
  • Onsite childcare services

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled LPC/LCSW to join our outpatient treatment program in Alaska. As a member of our care team, you will support individuals on their healing journeys and assist them in developing customized plans to achieve a healthier path in life.

Our Treatment Program

Our integrated substance use and behavioral health services cater to individuals 18 and older and their families struggling with addiction. Our MAT program is available for opioid use disorder treatment using buprenorphine (Suboxone, Sublocade) and naltrexone. We also offer MAT for alcohol and tobacco use disorders.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A Master's degree in a behavioral health field, such as Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work; or a PhD/PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
  • Alaska clinical licensure in your designated field within four years of hire
  • Additional qualifications for Clinician II: two years of supervised clinical work experience for master's level Behavioral Health; or two years of post-graduate clinical experience for PhD or PsyD level; or demonstrated proficiency as a Clinician I at SCF
