Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team at HHM Hotels (Harrisburg Corporate). As an Accounting Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations of our properties, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Leadership: Provide financial guidance and oversight to property accounting teams, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis of contracts and legal agreements, and assist hotel management in maintaining licenses, permits, insurance, and contracts.
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement procedures to promote efficient and effective accounting activities, and review and analyze current policies and procedures to improve compliance.
  • Training and Development: Standardize staff accountant job duties across regions, and develop and implement training programs to enhance accounting skills and knowledge.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with government, company, franchise, and ownership requirements, and identify and mitigate financial risks.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry, with supervisory experience preferred.
