We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Aide to join our team at Providence Home Services Oregon. As a Hospice Aide, you will play a vital role in providing supportive personal care services to patients of all ages, under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized physical care to patients in accordance with state and federal regulatory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Support patients and their families in managing chronic or life-limiting illnesses.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
- Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire (if practicing within this state).
- 2 years of experience (exception for nursing students with current CNA).
- Experience using electronic medical record software.
