Job Summary

A dermatology physician is responsible for managing all aspects of a dermatology program, including clinical, administrative, academic, and research components. The ideal candidate will have experience providing comprehensive patient care in dermatology and be proficient in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver compassionate and competent dermatological care to patients.
  • Work with multiple divisions/services to improve patient care outcomes and efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with nursing and other staff to meet common goals.
  • Participate in staff meetings, morbidity and mortality conferences, grand rounds, and other clinically relevant academic and service activities.
  • Provide clinical coverage as needed by the dermatology team.
  • Establish and promote an atmosphere of unity through collaborative practice and effective communication.
  • Foster a high level of patient and staff satisfaction.
  • Manage and coordinate community care needs.
  • Inform patients of test results and recommended care/treatments.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities.
  • Meet continuing education requirements.
Work Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

Requirements
  • United States citizenship
  • Doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree
  • Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia
  • Residency training in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
