Job Title: Clinical Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Social Worker to join our team at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. As a Clinical Social Worker, you will provide clinical social work services to adult patients and their families, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary oncology team to deliver patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide biopsychosocial assessments and interventions to patients and families, addressing cancer-related distress and improving quality of life.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to manage psychosocial barriers and ensure patients' access to recommended medical care.
  • Develop and implement short-term, evidence-based interventions to address patients' psychosocial needs, including individual, family, and group work.
  • Identify and address high-risk psychosocial factors and strengths of patients and families, impacting health status, coping, and adjustment.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • Massachusetts license (LCSW) or LICSW preferred.
  • Minimum 1-year MSW internship experience in social work practice or 2 years of social work experience as an LCSW in a healthcare setting.
