The Rush University Medical Center Department of Neurological Sciences is seeking a highly skilled Neurointensivist to join our esteemed Neurocritical Care Program. As a leading academic institution and teaching hospital, we offer a dynamic and collaborative environment for our faculty members.

About the Position

  • Join a team of 6 Neurology-trained and 2 Anesthesiology-trained Neurointensivists in a state-of-the-art 28-bed Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists, including endovascular surgeons, vascular neurosurgeons, and stroke neurologists.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of clinical trials and protocols, with access to a full-time PhD-level biostatistician.
  • Contribute to the education and training of fellows and residents in the Rush University ACGME and UCNS-accredited fellowship program.

Requirements

  • Board certification or eligibility in Neurocritical Care.
  • Completion of a UCNS-accredited, two-year neurocritical care fellowship.
  • Eligibility for faculty appointment in Rush Medical College at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.
