About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Vice President, Global External Communications to lead our strategic efforts in managing all aspects of external communication. This critical role requires a skilled professional with expertise in public relations, media strategy, and external affairs to enhance our public image, build strong relationships with media, investors, and external stakeholders, and shape our reputation as a global leader in the technology industry.

Salary & Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $300,000 - $350,000 per year, based on market conditions and location. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, telehealth coverage, flexible work schedules, and career growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive external communications plan to enhance our visibility, brand reputation, and positioning in the SaaS and technology space.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets to secure high-impact coverage and manage public relations, including thought leadership, press releases, and executive interviews.
  • Collaborate with Internal Communications and Global Brand, as well as other Marketing functions to support external communication efforts related to corporate events, product launches, and M&A.
  • Provide investor communications, including earnings announcements and financial releases, ensuring clear and strategic messaging with the financial community.
  • Manage the global external communications team, ensuring consistency in messaging across international markets while adapting strategies to local contexts.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (Master's preferred) and 15+ years of experience in external communications, corporate communications, or public relations.
  • Proven ability in leading external communications, public relations, and media strategies for high-growth tech or SaaS companies.
  • Expertise in developing global communication strategies that align with business objectives and produce measurable results.
  • Skilled in managing high-stakes crisis communication to protect and enhance company reputation during challenging situations.
  • Strong experience in managing relationships with media, investors, partners, and regulatory bodies to ensure consistent messaging.
