Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Martin Marietta. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely operating plant mobile heavy equipment, including haul trucks and water trucks, to bring raw materials from the pit to the plant in a timely and efficient manner.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of heavy construction equipment and possess excellent communication skills to ensure seamless coordination with coworkers. Responsibilities:

- Safely operate plant mobile heavy equipment, including haul trucks and water trucks
- Ensure accurate and efficient movement of raw materials from the pit to the plant
- Perform pre-shift safety inspections on equipment and report any needed repairs to supervision
- Assist in plant maintenance and repairs as required
- Adhere to MSHA and plant safety rules, policies, procedures, and regulations

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of heavy construction equipment
- 2-4 years' experience operating heavy mobile equipment preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed

Estimated Salary:

$65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
