Job Overview

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our store is well-stocked and organized. Your role will involve a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall efficiency and customer satisfaction at Hannaford.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, label, and arrange merchandise according to the guidelines set forth in the training manual.
  • Assist in unloading deliveries, verifying incoming products, and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers in locating products and answering inquiries.
  • Maintain productivity standards as established by the company.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision when required.
Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to learn various tasks and technical aspects of the position.
  • Must meet the minimum age requirement.
  • Availability to work overnight or early morning shifts.
Physical Demands
  • Regularly lift up to 20 lbs and occasionally lift up to 60 lbs, including overhead lifting.
  • Push or pull up to 40 lbs consistently.
  • Stand or walk for the entirety of the shift.
  • Engage in frequent reaching, grasping, and lifting of stock items at various heights.
  • Perform frequent bending, kneeling, and squatting.
  • Handle various cleaning and packaging materials safely.
  • Tolerate extreme temperatures for short periods.
  • Utilize computers and communication devices as necessary for job functions.

  • Assist in training new employees and participate in special projects as directed.
  • Process merchandise accurately, paying attention to product rotation and code dates.
  • Monitor temperature controls for all storage and display areas.
  • Support safety protocols and report any maintenance needs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Meet the physical demands of the role, with or without accommodations.
