The New Grad RN Residency Program is a paid internship program designed for new graduates with less than six months of experience. This program provides hands-on acute care nursing experience over a period of 10-16 months.

Program Highlights
  • Shadow and work with a trained mentor in the Registered Nurse role
  • Attend regular meetings with the resident, trainer, and/or Director
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s)
  • Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner
  • Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitor patient response
  • Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and anticipating their needs
Requirements
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year of employment
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State

Some travel may be required for training. This program is designed to provide new graduates with the tools necessary to succeed in today's hospital environment.
