Position: Case Records Management Supervisor

We are seeking a qualified individual to oversee the administration of all case records, documentation, and templates while ensuring adherence to HIPAA standards. This role includes serving as the HIPAA Privacy Officer and leading the Forms Committee. Responsibilities encompass organizing and maintaining files for individuals served, performing data entry, processing status updates, managing requests, and disseminating information for meetings and reports.

Additional duties include maintaining the operation of laminating and printing equipment, as well as supervising the Case Records Assistant. This is a full-time position with a standard schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of case records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Supervise the Case Records Assistant and oversee daily operations.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records for individuals served.
  • Facilitate the distribution of information for various meetings and reports.
  • Ensure the functionality of laminating and printing equipment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience in records management and HIPAA compliance.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent customer service and telephone skills.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs or a quarter of body weight, whichever is less.
  • Experience in records management, administrative support, and familiarity with HIPAA regulations is advantageous.
