Medical Laboratory Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist to join our team at Haywood Regional Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science or Clinical Laboratory Science from an accredited college and be certified as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) by a recognized organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing samples for testing, collecting and analyzing bodily fluids and substances, operating laboratory equipment, and reporting results to patients, physicians, or registered nurses. They will also perform quality assurance work to ensure the accuracy of equipment and maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
