Job Title: Oncology Scribe

Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year

Virginia Oncology Associates is seeking an oncology scribe to join our team in Williamsburg. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with physicians and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow physicians through their workday and chart patient encounters in real-time
  • Generate referral letters and manage medical documents within the EHR system
  • Assist with e-prescribing and data management tasks
  • Apply knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to ensure accurate documentation

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous medical scribe experience preferred
  • Clinical/healthcare experience in oncology/hematology an asset
  • Typing speed of at least 60 wpm
  • G2 or other EMR experience a plus
