Virginia Oncology Associates is seeking a highly skilled medical transcriptionist to support our Williamsburg office. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with physicians and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately transcribe physician dictation into electronic health records
- Manage and sort medical documents within the EHR system
- Assist with e-prescribing and data management tasks
- Apply knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to ensure high-quality transcripts
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous medical scribe experience preferred
- Clinical/healthcare experience in oncology/hematology an asset
- Typing speed of at least 60 wpm
- G2 or other EMR experience a plus
