Job Summary:
The Pool Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the overall safety and maintenance of the swimming pool complex at Horseshoe Bay Resort. This includes coordinating facility programming, maintaining and ordering supplies, and ensuring the pool is always in a safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and develop pool personnel to ensure staff is well-trained and creates a safe environment for users.
- Ensure the pool facility is always in a safe environment and conduct in-service training drills bi-monthly to maintain safety standards.
- Clean and sanitize the swimming pool, including cleaning pool backwash, filters, skimming pool surfaces, vacuuming, and checking chemical levels.
- Ensure all equipment is in good working order and provide repair or replacement as needed.
- Procure chemicals, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Communicate and enforce pool procedures to ensure safety.
- Check for hazardous conditions and ensure proper safety equipment is available.
- Report all problems, including disciplinary, to Engineering DOE or Assistant DOE.
- Maintain accurate records, including pool chemical readings and supplies.
- Follow and record proper cleaning procedures to maintain a clean environment.
- May wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
- Provide suggestions to improve or repair pool equipment.
- Drives and/or operates a company vehicle or equipment and must obey all safety policies, and roadway rules and laws.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPO Certified preferred.
- Poll maintenance experience required.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Must have the physical strength, stamina, and agility to perform the assigned duties.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, squat, bend, and stretch for long periods of time.
