Position Overview:
We are looking for an Environmental Consultant to take on a full-time role within our organization. This is a direct hire opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations and prepare detailed inspection reports along with other environmental tasks as required.
- Draft comprehensive inspection reports.
- Analyze construction drawings and the scope of work.
- Survey and collect samples of materials suspected to contain asbestos in various buildings.
- Submit bulk samples to accredited laboratories.
- Compile reports for each investigation, including ACP-5 Forms when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Navigate both indoor and outdoor environments to perform inspections.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in Environmental Science.
- Possession of a NYCDEP Investigator license.
- Possession of a NYSDOL Inspector license.
- Hazmat certification is required.
- Experience in Environmental Inspections.
- Strong report writing skills.
