About the Job

The Security Specialist will be responsible for reviewing security reports, identifying areas of vulnerability, and documenting findings and mitigations in the Plan of Action and Milestones. This role requires a strong understanding of security protocols and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review security reports to identify areas of weakness and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Document findings and mitigations in the Plan of Action and Milestones.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies.
Requirements
  • Five (5) years of experience as a Security Specialist, including prior experience designing, implementing, and testing public sector healthcare system controls and ascertaining the system's security posture.
  • Relevant certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
