We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at FPI Management. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our apartment homes, buildings, and grounds.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs to flooring, drywall, and appliances, as well as troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Conduct on-call and after-hours emergency services, responding to maintenance requests and ensuring prompt resolution.
- Assist with unit turnovers, performing maintenance inspections and repairs to ensure proper operating conditions and appearance.
- Maintain and repair equipment, including proper storage and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory inspections, including NSPIRE, MOR, TCAC, and CALFHA.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in residential property management.
- High School diploma or equivalency certificate required; technical school and/or CAMT certification preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and good driving record required.
- Ability to wear a respirator and comply with FPI's facial hair policy.
- Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
- Rehab/Renovation experience.
- Pool Maintenance experience.
- Plumbing Repair experience.
- Painting (Int & Ext) experience.
- Landscape/Grounds experience.
- HVAC Maintenance experience.
- Electrical Repair experience.
- Drywall Installation/Repair experience.
- Carpentry experience.
- Boiler Systems experience.
- Appliance Repair experience.
