Job Title: Senior Property Accountant

Our client, a leading real estate company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Property Accountant to join their team. As a key member of the accounting department, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of the company's investment portfolios.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of real estate, CAM, and utility expenses
  • Perform financial statement analysis and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Assist with quarterly and annual audits, ensuring compliance with GAAP and FASB
  • Manage disputed charges and process late fees
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in real estate or investment portfolios
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Knowledge of Yardi or MRI software a plus
