PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Effectively and safely executes assembly and/or repair tasks for manufacturing track loaders and tele-handlers within a collaborative team setting.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure a secure working environment
Operate independently without direct supervision
Specific duties may vary but generally include:
Assemblers are expected to meet production rates within designated timeframes
Disassemble and/or repair components as required
Utilize assembly diagrams and specifications for guidance
Conduct setups independently and/or follow part specifications and job instructions
Verify results for compliance with specifications and implement necessary adjustments
May document data and/or maintain cleanliness of equipment and tools
Guide and support fellow team members
Transport and position units/loads as needed
Maintain cleanliness of the workspace and undertake other related tasks as necessary
Responsibilities may differ based on specific assignments.
Includes, but is not limited to:
hand and power tools, testing equipment, gauges, grinders, riveters, arbor presses, hoists, hand and power trucks, dynamometers, tachometers, testing machines, assembly prints, fixtures, jigs, templates, clamps, and various other hand tools.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Willingness and ability to assist in various areas as required. Propose and implement enhancements. Follow through on details. Actively seek productive tasks upon completion of assignments.
Engage in continuous improvement initiatives for our products and processes to enhance customer satisfaction and boost overall profitability.
Equipment:
Tools, safety footwear, safety eyewear, gloves, and other personal protective equipment as necessary.
WORK CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES:
Tasks are repetitive, physically demanding, requiring manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, prolonged standing, and frequent lifting of heavy items.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Ability to perform work while standing on concrete for a minimum of 8 hours, potentially extending to 10 hours daily.
Skills in reading, writing, verbal communication, teamwork, problem-solving, decision-making, critical thinking, job task planning and organization, significant memory usage, information retrieval, computer proficiency, and commitment to continuous learning.
