Mercy University is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Admissions Recruiter. As a key member of our Enrollment Management team, you will play a critical role in managing internal student inquiries and attending local and regional events on behalf of the university.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop partnerships with high school counselors and corporate/community organizations to generate inquiries from prospective students.
- Provide best-in-class customer service to students who have expressed an interest in attending Mercy College.
- Use all available technology to engage students immediately upon inquiry and cultivate a relationship through support and excitement for the journey ahead.
- Collaborate with the Enrollment Management team to achieve recruitment goals and objectives.
- Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, written and oral communication, problem-solving, coaching, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Strong and inspirational communication skills, vibrant personality, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Possess an abundance of enthusiasm and maintain a positive disposition.
- Ability to demonstrate competitive nature, self-direction, motivation, and a sense of urgency to achieve goals.
- Proven resiliency in maintaining a spirited approach to recruitment.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office and Outlook required and ability to learn new software.
- Ability to travel on a daily basis and work weekends and evenings.
