Your Responsibilities:


The Principal Process Engineer will report to the Hot End Manager and will oversee process management, which includes technical, process, production, and maintenance recommendations for specific tasks within the hot end process operations group.

This encompasses batch processing, furnace operations, binder management, forehearth control, fiberizing, forming, wash water processes, and products for both hot and cold processes.


In this capacity, you will lead and support World Class Manufacturing initiatives, production methodologies, and controls to achieve customer-centric quality standards aligned with the company's objectives.

By applying process engineering principles and advanced process control tools, you will ensure that processes are optimized, capable, and well-regulated.

Furthermore, you will focus on minimizing process variations and addressing specific causes of variation.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Glass Science, Ceramic Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field is required.

- A minimum of 4 years of experience in glass manufacturing is strongly preferred.

- Experience in process engineering within a manufacturing context is essential.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required; familiarity with Minitab is a plus.
