About the Role

Mutual of America Financial Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Client Relationship Manager to join our team in Boca Raton, FL. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and key personnel, managing day-to-day operations and servicing of group retirement plan clients, and facilitating client inquiries and service requests in a proactive manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key personnel
  • Manage the day-to-day operations and servicing of group retirement plan clients
  • Maintain compliance calendars for each client to ensure timely execution of required annual compliance tasks
  • Facilitate client inquiries and service requests in a proactive manner
  • Meet with clients to conduct plan review meetings and provide recommendations for plan enhancements
  • Manage pre and post-client meeting tasks, including preparation of meeting materials and post-review meeting minutes
  • Coordinate plan support services with the home office to ensure timely and accurate delivery
  • Engage in client retention and growth objectives within assigned book of clients
  • Seek opportunities for client service model enhancements and identify opportunities for increasing plan contributions
  • Work closely with the regional team to coordinate delivery of MOA services
  • Design participant education campaigns and conduct group education presentations, enrollment presentations, and participant 1:1 meetings as needed
  • Leverage existing client relationships for new opportunities within the region
  • Attend client events to enhance relationships
  • Manage Salesforce data and update client information
Requirements
  • Prior work experience in the group retirement plan industry
  • Knowledge and understanding of corporate/group retirement plans, including retirement plan design, investment monitoring, plan administration, compliance testing, and enhanced understanding of retirement plan rules and regulations
  • Excellent business writing, presentation, and public speaking skills
  • Comfortable presenting in front of groups and C-suite executives
  • Client relationship management experience
  • Ability to handle pressure, prioritize, and multitask during a business day
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Active FINRA Series 6, 63, and SIE or must be obtained within the first year of employment
  • Active State Life and Health Insurance License (in all states covered) required or obtained within the first year of employment
  • Valid driver's license
