We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate mental health clinician to join our team in Denver. As a Child First Mental Health Clinician, you will work with families in the north Denver/Thornton/Longmont/Adam County areas to provide evidence-based interventions and support.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time salaried position with robust benefits, including licensed supervision. The ideal candidate will have a Master's or Doctoral degree in a mental health field, experience working with culturally diverse children and families, and a strong understanding of relationship-based, psychodynamic intervention and early child development.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) and care coordination services to families in their homes
  • Work with families to build strong, nurturing relationships and protect young children from the impact of trauma and chronic stress
  • Collaborate with community-based providers to ensure high-quality implementation of evidence-based programs
  • Participate in reflective clinical supervision and ongoing professional development
Requirements:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in a mental health field (e.g., LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, clinical psychologist, other)
  • Experience working psychotherapeutically with culturally diverse children and families, including parent-child therapeutic work and play therapy with very young children (0-5 years)
  • Knowledge of relationship-based, psychodynamic intervention and early child development; parent-child relationships and attachment theory; effects of trauma and environmental risks on early childhood brain development
  • Ability to speak English and Spanish required
