Clinical Duties

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Clinician to join our team at Urban Peak Denver. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide evidence-based programming that supports positive mental health outcomes for youth ages 15-24 experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in creating, maintaining, and updating treatment plans for youth on caseload
  • Assessment of youth's needs using evidenced-based assessments
  • Providing crisis intervention and presence in milieus as necessary to support relationships with youth
  • Working closely with other staff and agency programs to coordinate activities, providing clear and effective communication with other staff regarding clients
  • Providing clinical individual sessions in a low-barrier setting with harm reduction principles
General Job Duties

In addition to clinical duties, the successful candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Actively representing Urban Peak in the community to persons interested in the issue of homelessness for education, funding, and advocacy purposes
  • Attending all required staff meetings and trainings
  • Educating and training volunteers and interns in all aspects of working with youth who are homeless or at high risk of homelessness
  • Accountable to all defined outcomes, both individually and team level by supporting data collection through Urban Peak's database
